From Windy Skies to Cozy Studio Vibes: A Family Session at Studio Salt
Sometimes Mother Nature has other plans, and that’s exactly what happened for this sweet family of three. We had originally planned their session outdoors, but the wind was so wild that day we decided to move into the beautiful Studio Salt instead. Honestly, it turned out to be the perfect choice!
Inside the studio, we used the gorgeous large white wall and a rolling beige wall to create two distinct looks. Both gave us a clean, timeless backdrop that really let this family’s connection shine.
Their little one stole the show, of course. We kept him happy and engaged with bubbles, snacks, and lots of playtime. He crawled across the floor, giggled as his parents swung him while walking, and even snuggled up on the bed for some cozy moments.
I made sure to capture every dynamic: solo shots of their son, each parent individually with him, the three of them together, and even just mom and dad as a couple. I always think those “just the two of you” moments are so important because it’s where the love story began and the reason this sweet family exists in the first place.
In the end, what started as a windy challenge became a session full of warmth, laughter, and the kind of images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
